How does a sale start and end?
At the start time, the app turns on a Shopify catalog with a price list of the sale prices. At the end time it deletes them, and your regular prices show again.
Does the app change my product prices?
No. Your product prices are never edited. The sale prices live only in the catalog's price list.
What if I uninstall during a sale?
The sale stays on until you remove it. Go to Products > Catalogs in your Shopify admin and delete the catalog named "sale:<name>". If you reinstall instead, the app picks the sale up again.
What do the plans include?
Free: one sale at a time, up to 100 variants, starting now. Pro: $9.99 a month or $99 a year, with a 7-day free trial, any number of sales and variants, and sales scheduled ahead or repeating. Change plans on the Plan page in the app.
Where do shoppers see the sale price?
In your online store and checkout, for the markets the sale covers. Shopify says market prices also reach the Google & YouTube feed and Shopify POS on region markets. Google can take a few hours to show a sale that just started or ended.
Do discount codes add to the sale?
Yes. Shopify applies discount codes and automatic discounts on top of the sale price. Pause a store-wide code during a sale if you do not want both.
What is left out of a sale?
Gift cards, products with the tag you choose to exclude, and items priced at or below a fixed amount off. B2B customers keep their own catalog prices. A market with its own currency or its own catalog is left out, and the app names it.
I added a product during a sale. Is it on sale?
Yes, within 15 minutes, if it is in the sale's collection or has its tag (or the sale covers all products).
